The month of April is National Parkinson’s Awareness Month, and the red tulip is the national symbol for PD. Each April, NPF of WNY has sponsored a sale of red tulip cutouts as a fundraiser for the chapter. These tulips sprouted at your local restaurant, tavern, convenience store, coffee shop or office building, as a sign of your devotion to the cause of battling PD. Recognition of National Parkinson’s Month will continue, whether it is the tulip cutout sale or another similar effort. Either way, we look forward to your support.
